I bought Kindle Voyage a while ago but it hasn't arrived yet so I downloaded the Kindle app for Mac and already started downloading some free uncopyrighted MOBI ebooks from the internet to have them prepared when my Kindle finally arrives. Poll everywhere app for mac. I also downloaded Calibre and got all the metadata on, made sure the cover was included too. Yet whenever I upload the books on Kindle app, the covers aren't showing. I tried different ways, like saving the Calibre files so that the metadata should be merged with the file and then uploading them to Kindle again but nothing's worked so far, and to my surprise, Kindle app doesn't have the option to manually edit metadata. I guess it's meant to be used only with Amazon-bought books, but since the Kindle also handles MOBI format, I was eager to download some free books. I have no desire to pay for some classics on Amazon when they're free all over the internet. Is there any way to make the covers appear? https://happyheavy456.weebly.com/math-app-for-mac.html. Maybe some other ebook management apps than Calibre could handle this? I know the cover doesn't really matter in the end but I'm a very aesthetical person, I'd like to have my covers all neat, I guess it would remind me of a physical book shelf and give me more of an authentic reading experience.
